Online Auctions

Rexel Rewards Online Auctions is a NEW program that has been added to the Rexel Rewards family of loyalty rewards. Online auctions are run separately to the original program as you do not use your X-factor or Regular Rexel Reward points to bid. You earn online Auction Points specifically for bidding online for some fantastic prizes that will be advertised in the auctions section of the Rexel Rewards website in line with each issue of Hotwire.

Online Auction points are separate to Regular and X-factor points. They have no monetary value, the value auction points hold is in bidding online for auction prizes.

How do I earn online auction points?

Online Auction points can be earned in two ways:

Hotwire - Auction points can be earned by purchasing key selected products that will be highlighted in the Hotwire magazine on a bi-monthly basis.

Rexel Rewards Online Surveys- Auction points can also be earned by participating in online surveys about Rexel and key suppliers which can be found when you log in to the Rexel Rewards website.

The points values that you can earn vary, ie there is no correlation between dollars spent and points value. The online auction points value will be stated for a specific product in Hotwire or before you answer an online questionnaire.

How long is the promotional period?

The promotional period is 2 months long, directly relating to each individual issue of the Hotwire magazine. For example: If Hotwire runs during April & May, auction points earned during this period can only be used for the April/May online auctions that start on the 1st June and run through to midnight on the 15th June.

How do I redeem my auction points?

To redeem your auction points you need to log in to the auction section of the Rexel Rewards website. When the auctions open you can bid in the auctions you choose. When your bid has been superseded by a competitors bid your points will go back on your balance so you can put your next bid on your chosen auction.

Do online auction points expire?

Yes! Online auction points expire. The points earned during an issue of Hotwire expire if they are not used for the correlating auction.
